Troubleshooting
I can’t hear any Road-Waves
- Tap “Tap here to enable sound” once when you open the app.
- On iPhone, check the side silent switch isn’t on — it can mute web audio.
- Turn your volume up, and make sure Auto-play is on in settings.
- You only hear people in your same zone. If you’re the only driver there, there’s nothing to hear yet.
The mic isn’t working / it keeps asking for permission
- Allow microphone access when prompted.
- On iPhone Safari, set the site’s microphone permission to Allow (tap the “aA” or page menu in the address bar → Website Settings → Microphone → Allow).
- Make sure you’re on https — the mic is blocked on insecure pages.
It just says “Locating…”
- Allow location access.
- Location is more accurate on a phone than on a desktop computer.
It says “Someone’s talking — wait…”
That’s normal — only one person talks per zone at a time. Wait a moment and try again.
How do I stop hearing someone?
Tap the 🚫 mute icon on their Road-Wave in the list. It only affects your device, and you can undo it any time.
